Okay... I find MSN sucks, and ICQ plays silly buggers with my comp... I prefer Yahoo, for mail and messenger, the search engine sucks generally, the rest of the stuff is bollocks. Even chat!

What sucks most is when you KNOW someone is online... they know you are, neither of you are displaying invisible, however Yahoo decides to say you are offline which stops you chatting.

I was in a conference talking with two people... (using messenger), i could see them both, however I got messages from one saying, "who else are you talking to?" and the other person saying "[name] is no online, what are you on about"

IOW: I could see them, but they could only see me and not each other... not sure what was happening but logging on and off did not resolve it. Anyone else have probs with yahoo?

yeah netmeeting's cool with the webcam and whiteboard part, but its still crappy coz you have to dial up to IPs and it doesnt work properly on my network unless i connect through my modem. and the message box doesnt flash when theres a new msg like yahoo does!!
