Personally I think it is not laugh out loud funny but I do watch it.

Watching a boring family who just sit in their living room (lounge to you posh people) watching TV, saying "my arse" and laughing over nothing.

I think its funny too. The first time I watched it I thought exactly the same as Mariner but after a couple other of episodes I began to appreciate the subtle but bloody funny humour lol. That bit was classic on the last episode on Monday when Jim said to baby David 'and sometimes your mum needs a firework up her arse' LoL

The reason I like it is coz it is typical of so many people I know, I reckon this series is more interesting because they get off the couch more!
