Mariah Carey and Westlife

I'll probably be the only one that thinks this! But I was really disappointed when I read in a magazine that Radio 1 won't put the song by Mariah Carey and Westlife 'Against All Odds' on their playlist! I love this song, all singers on it have great voices, but Radio 1 won't play it because they say its old! Ok, its a cover but how many covers has Radio 1 played before? It's really annoyed me !

Personally I don't like this version but don't really like Phill Collins's version either, perhaps radio one have had enough of covers in the charts. Let me look into this but my guess is that atleast 50% of the top 40 are covers or remixes which shows a lack of talent, True songwriting will soon become a lost art.

I really can't stand that song so radio 1 not playing it suits me fine. I've just been on holiday in france and they were playing on the radio and in all the bars over there all week long. I swear if I ever hear it again.....

I agree with elisakate, i like the song but i wish westlife would do songs of their own. Altough i like the song it is starting 2 get on my nerves!

To be honest, I think that compared to all the other pretty-boy bands, Westlife ain't that bad compared to N-sync or A1.

I quite liked that song but hate westlife and Mariah Carey normally apart from Mariah Carey's Fantasy(BadBoy and ODB version).
I think its because it was on when I slept with one of my boyfriends for the first time. He is my one true love and I still love him now. He doesn't know that though so sssshhhhhhhhh!
