record breaking

tomorrow our school (in its infinite wisdom) has decided that we're gonna break the world record for the biggest hug. as in number of people they can get to hug each other at once, and they're aiming for about 900. we all have to pay 50p to take part, and our school hasnt even publicised what charity its for! my bro seems to think it has something to do with "homeless children", possibly the ones in india after the earthquake.

anyway we did our hug and broke the record and were on local tv and the regional teletext <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">

There was a thing on anglia tv last night about this school in Suffolk doing a hug thingy. They did it for comic relief and there was 1300 people.

anyway i think there was actually just over 1300 in ours, ill have to remember to check the article on the noticeboard inside the main entrance tomorrow!
