Does anybody here smoke cannabis for medical reasons?

I dont personally but I used to have the occasional joint to ease period pain...its great releif!
A friend of mine had MS and she smokes puff for it, the docter actually mentioned it to her but she gets it herself. She says its the only thing that has eased her pain and couldnt live without it. I think it should be legalised just for this reason, its a great pain releif.

yeah, after my speed addiction I got a minor case of amphetamine sychosis and cannabis really helped recovery.

I also smoke weed for period pain but then I smoke it all the time anyway.
I know one of my grans smoked it when she had breast cancer just to make her feel better. Also my mum is HIV poitive and she smokes it and a lot of people at the groups she goes to smoke it as well.
My mum smoked it before she was diagnosed so I think she just uses it as an excuse to people who dont agree with it
