My girlfriend takes loads of vitamins and all kinds of weird minerals and other supplements every day. I think it's a really bad waste of money cos it costs a fortune but doesn't seem to do her any good at all. She eats well anyway, so surely it is not needed.

I don't eat much meat, so I take iron vitamins to boost my energy (because us ladies loose it once a month, if you know what I'm getting @).
I heard a lot of good things about iron supplements and calcium supplements, but I'm not so sure about vitamins. In my opinion, the best thing to do is to eat a balanced healthy diet and to get pleanty of exercise!
