I have quite an embarrassing problem, I am allegic to absolutely everything. Soap powder so my clothes makes me itch, soap and shower gels so washing makes me itch, make-up so I can't get dressed up. Once I used dove deodorant (about 2 years ago) and since then my armpits haven't stopped itching. In the streets ppl look at me odd because I'm constantly scratching myself somewhere. And the latest big problem is a new allergy to sanitary towels and tampax!!! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif">

Anyone else suffer with allergies to stuff like this and offer any advice? I've tried talking to the doctor but he's a stupid w**ker and sends me away witj "there is absolutely nothing wrong with you" everyime.

Please, please, please help someone, anyone, this is getting to be a real nightmare.

I've actually tried to change doctor quite a few times but the practise I'm with at the minute will not allow me to see a different doctor to the one I'm registered under. And other local practises have their books full and wont see me either.

I actually read somewhere a few weeks ago that itching can be a side-effect of a serious underlying problem and the least your doctor should do is take blood samples and test for common virus' and other illness'. I told the doctor this but he refused to accept that there could be anything wrong and sent me packing. I have asked him to refer me to a skin specialist but he wont do that either. I've tried and tried but it doesn't seem to get me anywhere.

I also suffer alot with problems woith my back, 10 years ago I was diagnosed with havinf spina-bifida occulta. I was told that it would cause me pain for the rest of my life as more that 1 of the vertabrea in my spine didn't form properly when i was small. I did manage to get some form of physio for this and it really helped, but then they stopped it. Since then I have been back and forth to the doctors with backache and each time he tells me there is nothing wrong with me!!! I tell him to check my notes and he tells me that the spina-bifida should never cause me any pain, he gives me a prescription for some strong pain killers and send me on my way. He refuses to refer me to a specialist about this 2 even when i tell him that i want to find out once and for all what is causing my back pain. He's such a wanker!
I even lodged a complaint about him once but when they looked in my file it showed that I hadn't seen him about backache ever so it's obvious the stupid wanker doesn't even keep a record of when i go to see him.

Oh dear, this as turned into a bit of a "I HATE MY DOCTOR" essay, sorry.

Unfortunatly the original diagnosis of my back problems are on my record because it mas made at the hospital. As for private treatment, it's something I just can't afford. I've looked into it and had a private consultation but I have no money and so cant get the treatment I need.
Thanks for the idea of getting a copy of my record, I will ask for one next time I go and see the wanker, sorry doctor.
And on the intchy side, can anyone recomend any products that may help me?

Thanks for the help
