absolutely definitely! everyone has a special person just waiting for them. when you find them you'll know and everybody will be guided to the one by fate. thats what i think anyway!!! lol

But what if your "one" has already been taken by someone else who thought he/she was his/her "one"?
Several strings of fate and coincidence brought me & my husband together, but why didn't it happen sooner if it was meant to be?

Nice ideal Angel but a tad nieve I think. Chances of true love with the one are few and far between; when it happens it's great but honestly how many people do you know are truly giddy about each other after that initial sex rush thing wears off? Sounds cynical perhaps, but no point waiting around for someone who might never turn out and then finding you've wasted your life.

I found my one, at least I thought I had. Then after 2.5 years together we realised we had drifted apart and decided to call it a day.
So my question is, how do you know when you've found the one?

How do you know when it's the one? I don't know, but if you know the person you're with is NOT the one, should you give up on the relationship you're in and go and look?
My opinion is just to have fun, I'm only young, but am I cheating myself?
Do you think that you just know when you meet 'that special person' or does it come over time?

I've found my "one". We met over the internet 6 years ago, and after 3, we decided to meet. We've been together ever since, and we're still totally mad about each other, despeite the "initial sex rush" wearing off.... I just thought I should share this with you all because I now know it is possible for fate to bring two together. It was total coincidence that my boyfriend and I ever met in the first place, it was on a chat programme that neither of us had ever used before. I mean, what are the chances of us using that programme, at exactly that time? It's my own personal belief that it's fate, as nothing else seems to make sense...
I'm sure that all the cynics out there will have something to say <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif">), but I dont mind, I know he's my "one" whether it was fate or not.
p.s. I have no idea where that dodgy smily came from. It was just supposed to be :o).

I have decided that I did find my one afterall, even though we split up over a year ago we met up at the weekend for the first time since and decided we are still in love and we are getting back together. YEAH!!!!!!
He is definatly my one and I don't think I'll ever feel the same about anybody else.

And what happens if your "one" finds somebody else who he thinks is the "one" but really isn't?
And what if your "one" dies? Do you get another "one" or are you destined to be alone forever?
I don't believe in fate... it mean's you don't control your own life. I don however believe you can find someone who is meant for you, it just has to be someone who has lots and lots of things in common.
