i woke up one night 1.ooam ifound my brother wankin to naked men. when he saw me he told me he cant get an erection on women only men although he doesnt want to be gay he is scared incase he is please help.

Thats a hard one to judge... He could be gay, although it could be one of those confused sexuality kind of things that everyone says can happen at that age...how old is he btw? your profile says 14, so if he;s around your age he shouldn't really be trying to think "i'm gay" or "i'm straight" - he should just do whatever turns him on! sexuality can be a slow process...

But whatever, just do what you seem to be doing and support him - don't make him feeel like he is alone, that is the worst thing you could do. Kudos for not overreacting so far....

I wouldn't worry about your brother. I had the same problem when I was younger and of course I didn't want to be gay. After many years of doubting myself even though I would only get turned on by men I though I had to admit it and although I'd rather not be gay, it's what I am.

Ummm... Sounds like he might be. But so? He's still your brother, and as far as it interests you, gay is just something he is, along with funny and kind and whatever else he might be.

He might be going through a phase. But he might not. It depends on his age, I suppose.

He's your brother, and if he decides he's gay and decides the right thing to do is to come out to you and the rest of your family, then good luck to him.

But support him whatever because it's going to be hard but it will be worth it.

Bear in mind that jumping to conclusions, by either you or your brother, won't help.

hmmm, even if he thinks or doesnt want to be gay, sounds like he is, but the fact that you walked in oh him may make it easier for him to talk to you and maybe think about it, decide and talk to you about it, being a reliable sister like we all are and all that.

Why should he have to be categorised at all? He got pleasure from looking at men, just as you'd get pleasure from eating a chocolate cake. That doesn't automatically confine your preferences to chocolate cake, just as it doesn't mean your brother is gay, straight, bisexual or anything.

If he wants to make a decision on his sexuality, which is altogether a totally private matter, then that's up to him. Personally, I hate the categorical pigeon-holing nature of expressing 'sexuality'. Why can't we all just be 'sexual'??

Everybody goes through phases when their teenagers of experimenting with their sexuality... Let him get o with it and if he is gay he'll find out himself in a couple of months..
