Not quite sure how to approach this subject but it's something my gf and I talked about a couple of days.

Ladies - how do you like to keep your hair 'down below'? natural, trimmed or nothing!?

My gf went on holiday last week and was doing her bik line and got a bit razor happy and, well, it felt great when we did it. When she comes back she's going to take the whole lot off cos she said it felt great when I gave her oral.

Any views or experiences?

I have to confess: I am completely smoothly shaven, and have been since I was 14 years old (I am now 22).

Growing back IS a pain, or more precisely, an itch. I shave almost every day, or every other day at the most. That way it is aklways smooth and there is no itching. I shave under the shower, which makes it very easy. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">

The reason for being shaven is twofold: I love the look, but I also find sex much better, whatever way I do it.

most women shave down there but you have to exfoliate or you get ingrowing hairs.

I shave down there, not completly but near enough. It does itch when it grows back which is why u have to keep it shaved. Im more interested in knowing what blokes fascination is with wether we shave or not... not meaning u personally chunkymunkey, but my ex used to ask all my mates this question. He was obsessed by if they shaved or not!Then again he was a bit of a dodgy geeza!

A guy that i've, how shall we say it...been 'seeing' is constantly asking me to let him shave it all off, my only concern is that he will not stay around long enough to take charge of the up keep, an itchy bikini line is bad enough! but if the end results really are that good, then maybe i've been missing out.

it is a known fact that waxed or shaved bikini lines induce the need for cervical smears , even in virgins who don't normally need tests like these until they are sexually active, or eklse have reached 25 without dying! The same applies to facila and other bodily hair on women, that is why there is a great campaign I am supporting for the promoting of hairy women with beards (HWB-for short)

Back to Wind's question; my own personal preference is either a slim stripe (appearing like an interstate crossing a desert) or close cropped (say a number 1 style you get from the gents barber - and I'm not suggesting ladies visit the barber and ask for a no. 1). Difficult to pinpoint the reason, but I thinks it's cleaner, looks and feels more organised, you don't get a mouth full of hair and generally gives the impression that the lady is genuinely interested in her appearance.

My ex girlfriend was shaved and I found it a great turn on and alot more fun when I go down on her.

My girlfriend at the moment is not shaved, so I tend not to go down on her as much, because of the hair I get in my mouth.

But I find both have advantages and disadvantages, as if the girl does'nt shave for a couple of days it get a bit rough (i suppose like a mans chin) and it can scratch you.


But personally I think shaved is more of a turn on, i suppose it's because you can see everything.

Practically every girl I know r shaved, they do it cos they prefer it.
I prefer girls who r shaved, cos it just looks better, same reason men dont like girls who dont shave their legs or armpits I guess, n it definately makes oral a lot better. If ther's a load of hair just puts u off n can get in your mouth n well....

For all the women who find it itchy when thier hair is growing back through I always use water as cold as I can bear it under the shower to shave my muff because it doesnt open the skin around the hair up as much. If you use hot it opens the skin up then you shave it right down, then when youve done the skin closes up around the hair thus making it itchy when it grows back. My mate used to get a rash from this but now that she uses cool water it has cleared up.

Just a tip.

It stopped my itching anyway.

Waxing is great. The hairs grow back less dense and take more time to come back.

Its painful when u first have it done but I graduated from going to a beautician to doing it myself at home!

Me mates think I'm mad. A sado-masochist or summat but it ain't that bad. you get used to it.

Guys like a girl's pubes to be shaved because of the cleavage.

Cleavage isn't just boobs, it's the separation of skin. So, guys tend to like the visible separation of skin about boobs best. They also like butt cracks for the same reason. And the same can be said for a girl's crotch.

I can only assume that they like the separation of skin because it reminds them on a subconcious level of a vagina for their penis to enter into.

It also kind of explains why a lot of lesbian couples I know don't like their partner shaved or being shaved themselves.
