Since university I have done quite a lot of courses at my local MIND.

I think some of the courses come under social skills eg assertiveness and developing listening skills in the current batch.
I'm just wondering if people could give me more information. I think I'm learning a lot at the moment and I'm trying to learn and develop, but I still have much to learn.
In terms of people skills what are the main ones and are there courses you can do on them ?
I think a lot of it comes through experience, but I have limited experience in the dating arena so not sure how you learn about these things.
I'm reading Winning with People, but I think relationships can be confusing - I guess people are complicated !
Like maintaining friendships, long-distance relationships, beginning new friendships, communication. I think I know bits and bobs, but need to learn more.
I think after doing assertiveness that is one to work on - I'd like it if people put more effort in with me sometimes.
But based on the variety of courses there are lots of things to learn about eg body language, the dating game etc etc.
Does anyone have any ideas on the main areas to work on and learn about ?
