you can use the tennis balls to throw as fire balls
so say you could throw a bottle of petrol and then launch a tennis ball into it
but i don't see how else they could be used, above is just a guess really

I think they could use them as grenades, fill them with BBs and explosives, set light to them, they explode and turn everyone around them into mincemeat... not nice.
