Hi, I have bought some non permanent hair dye(6-8 washes) to try a colour out,the moment I am say, a mousy brown, naturally dark brown but highlighted. I would like to go a warm brown so trying it with non permanent. Got home and noticed its not to be used on highlighted or lightened hair, is this just specific to non permanent, and how much of that should I take notice of, I mean how wrong can it go, highlighted mousy brown to dark brown!? I got two boxes as i have longer hair. I am just wondering if there is experienced home colourers on here who have done this successfully? Or unsuccessfully!?
