Planning a trip to Thailand.Can someone tell me if I need to apply for a tourist visa because Ive been told lots of things.

The Foreign & Commonwealth office (http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travelling-and-living-overseas/travel-advice-by-country/asia-oceania/thailand?ta=entryRequirements&pg=4)says:

"British passport holders may enter Thailand for up to 30 days, without obtaining a visa in advance of arrival."

So depends on how long you want to stay? It will also give you other useful info about travel to Thailand.

The website also suggests if you have any visa queries to contact the Royal Thai Embassy (http://www.fco.gov.uk/content/en/contact/asia-oceana/dl-thailand).

Hope this helps! Definitely a good idea to check, when I went to Australia I stupidly forgot to check if I needed a visa which I did, luckily they let me buy it an the airport but they gave me a good telling off! :blush:
