ok, i bought a new tv about 6 weeks ago. worked quite well in my old flat. Now, i've moved to a different place in london, and i now can't get reception. So i thought the reception might be dodgy. so i bought a booster. which worked but only a tiny bit, still couldn't get digital.
so today i went out a bought an internal aerial and much better booster. and its worse! I'm retuning everytime i'm trying something new, and its all connected and turned on and such. The external aerial (if there is one) seems to not be working at all...
what can i do?
Tried retuning? Every area has its own 'frequency' so to speak so it might just need retuning.

Depends where in London you live. I live in North London and cant get TV for shit. Its classed as a poor reception area by Freeview.
If you live in a poor reception area no amount of indoor ariel boosters will make any difference.
Learn to watch it the next day on 4oD or BBCi player :thumb:
Even in good signal areas sometimes you can only get a digital signal with a "external" aerial and mast-head amp, so it's not too surprising that the indoor things don't work. Also some of the boosters do not help with digital signals, because the noise is amplified as much as the signal.

confusing, it seems to depend where my aerial is pointing. If i can get good reception from crystal palace (which i doubt cos i bet that over 20 miles away) then i'm fine, but if its from finchley, ally pally, hemel hempsted, then not....
