I'm after some freestanding, non fitted, so I can take them with me when I move out type wardrobes :D

I don't want to pay OTT for them (so the likes of MFI I'm guessing are probably way out) but my mind is drawing a blank as to where I could get some from apart from ikea and argos

Suggestions on a postiecard please :flirt:

Bigger supermarkets will have furniture. But really the most likely places for that sort of thing at a reasonable price are argos and ikea.

Changing the subject slightly - how do I know if they'll be able to deliver a sofa to me, yanno with access etc :nervous:

What's wrong with argos and Ikea? There's an Ikea just down the M6.

My wardrobe is from Argos, it's one you make yourself, with canvas and metal. I managed to put it together so it wasn't that hard.

Did you manage to sort out a place to live then? I'm gonna be hunting for a place in Brum come August so I'll be in the same situation :)

Oh there's nothing wrong with them, its just that its sorta like stating the obvious and I can't think of anymore! I have a canvas and metal one atm which I bought as a short-term solution a few months ago. Unfortunately; either the quality doesn't seem to be so great or I've overloaded it because it has a definate lean to one side!

I managed to bag myself a really gorgeous apartment, I've reasoned that I'm prolly better paying an extra £40 or £50 a month extra for my own furniture than some one elses - so I've opted for part furnished. I'm rather excited :D

What area is it in?

The Pier does lovely things, if you want to splash out a bit. I got a lovely chair from there.

Nuneaton

We did a dry run from the airport to the apartment during the busy time and it only took 25mins, so on a morning I should fly straight through :D

I've just found the perfect sofa to fit what is going to be my living room, not so perfect price tag though
