A few weeks ago I started doing avon to try to make a bit of extra money. I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever done it and if anyone has any tips of how to make some decent money from it?

Try selling it to your friends and family, and in the workplace as well as whatever round you're given. Because the money's a bit rubbish really and you have to buy the brochures and order forms and bags etc., you need a pretty wide network of customers to make anything halfway decent.

If you're good at door canvassing, things like power companies and mobile phone contracts probably pay better. wouuld depend on how many hours you could work too I guess.
