Just thought I would share with all you lovely people that I had my first tattoo today and I am very happy with it :)

You would probably be alright getting it done underage, I got my tattoo when I was 17.

I'm hopefully getting inked soon. Never had one before, so it's taking me an age to pluck up the courage. Oh and to find a reputable tattooist too - I'm obsessed with finding a good quality artist but don't know where to start lol.

I have. I don't know many people with tattoos, strangely enough! The only person I know has them done by a mate who lives miles away lol.
I have one recommendation from an online friend, but I'm always searching for better lol.

The only suggestion I am happy offering; don't get anything permanent done until you're 100% sure you can live with it!

I want one on my lower arm but am waiting til I have a job and some money. I have one on my left shoulder already.

Welsh Jemz, where did you go to get it done? It looks like a really nice job - how long did it take?
As for where to go to get a good tattooist, try online tattoo/piercing communities like the bodyjewellery.co.uk forum, they have people posting there from all over the country who can give you advice :thumb:
I'm considering getting a tattoo but am a real wuss so not sure it'll ever happen...

At OP: My GF just got her first one done on her right shoulder. Just 2 letters but looks nice. Yours looks good too, and im not a huge fan of tattoos.

i got it done at Tattoo Addiction right at the bottom end of town in Newport, was quite cheap too, cost me £40 :)

Before any tattoo snobs pop up, yes, I have a tribal tattoo, and yes, I like it. Had it just about 7 years now, and see it so rarely that it still surprises me every time I see it!

Oh, and it's my jeans that are wonky. I'm standing oddly to take a picture of my own back.

What about the sailor anchor on your butt, with the red loop saying "StrubbleS"? You seem to forget to mention it quite regularly!
