Right, so I bought a leather jacket for £60 last week from Topman on my Maestro card.

Thing is, I'm skint and I'm gonna have to return it.

1) The label isn't on it anymore
2) I've lost the reciept, but I should be able to show a bank statement with the transaction on
3) I bought other stuff with it and it came to like £110, will they still be alright just refunding the jacket for me?

Do I just lie and say it was for somebopdys birthday but they didn't like it?

Cheers :thumb:

I would. Not sure what they will be like without a receipt though.

just say you got it for your birthday - thats what I always do :D

Worst they will do is give you vouchers - but thats not much use when you are brassic

normally items have to be returned as sold - therefore with the tags still attached. if you're lucky they may give you the money back, or they may offer to put it on a giftcard for you. but i don't think they're obliged to do either.

TBH I think you will end up with vouchers unless its faulty.

You could always damage it accidentally on purpose
