itching scalp

I’m having trouble with my scalp, I think I managed to get sunburn on it and now it is itching and causing irritation, the skin is flaking off and its generally not very nice, does anyone know of any products that can help calm it down and stop it itching??

Coconut oil will sooth and moisturise the scalp (as well as condition your hair at the same time!)

Do you put calomine lotion on sunburn? Dunno if that's any good on your scalp though.

Call me skank but if I was you I would smother it in aftersun and leave it to soak in a bit and soothe it then wash it out in the shower. Theory wise it sounds great - never actually done it though!
