Trying to sell my car - where would be the best places to advertise?

in all the free and local rags, on cards in the back/board of the local shops, big sign in car window, you could try selling it online too- but I've no experience of that...

Autotrader online is your best bet i think, because you can out pictures up and stuff. My boyfriend found 3 of his 4 cars on there and also sold one.
It's £2.50ish for 2 weeks i think.

I bought mine off autotrader, but my mum's selling a motorbike on ebay at the moment. Depends how good it is I suppose, because the thing about autotrader, is there'll be loads of similar cars to compete with. I reckon something like autotrader is better if you live somewhere that's easy for people to get to, but if it's only £2.50 (sounds a bit cheap to me, I'd think it'd be more than that) then that's cheaper than a newspaper. If you're replacing it, you might get more as a part exchange instead.
