Cheap Eyeliner

Anyone find that cheap eyeliner (pencil) is always softer and therefore easier to use? It might smudge but thats not really a big issue for me. Liquid is hard to use; very messy. And expensive eyeliner is always quite hard. Anyone agree?

IK don't find any pencil works well or easier and it doesn't stay on very long either

I love my Chanel eyeliner pencil, this is one of the best pencils I have, it goes on really smoothly but is not cheap, it does however, last ages so I don't mind spending the extra money!

I'll have to invest sometime :) I'll look out for it next time I go for a restock

I find Rimmel Kohl is soft enough, and cheap! Doesn't stay put for long though, but I tend to get that problem with all eyeliners.
