What Have I Done To My Eyes?

They're slightly sticky, but if I take my glasses off, they seem alright. (And no, I can't go around without my glasses on)

Mum thinks it's conjuctivitus, but anyone I know who has had it, seems to have a lot of gunk on their eye, which I don't have. (well, they're sticky but there's not actually naything there)

conjunctivitis is usually, sore,red, itchy. It starts in 1 eye first, then can affect both and your eye will have yellowy,gungey maybe crusty gunk and maybe glued shut in the morning.

If it started in both eyes at the same time, it could be an allergy.

If its one or started as one, and theyre sore and itchy, red but no gunk then it could be a minor infection, Brolene drops/Golden eye ointment from a pharmacy works well.

If theyre irritated and dry, lubricating drops may help.

Thanks. From what you've said, it does just sound like an eye infection - they're sore and itchy but there's no gunk in them.

Pop into a pharmacy, a pharmacist will probably have quick look for you.
