I'm confused. Theres a girl a work who I really like and to be honest I was shocked she even noticed me and she has hinted that she would like to become more then friends, but then recently she has become rather cold towards me. I did recently ask her if she wanted to do something for the weekend, but she was busy and i replied not a problem.she did tell me not to read into this as a brush off and that we will do something away from work, but then its pretty much after this she became cold.

yeah thats it really, probably nothing in some peoples eyes, maybe it is. I dont know...well at least the holidays are soon.

she has made it clear she wasn't brushing you off. maybe you are reading too much into her behavious. she might not be cold she might just be shy or not know what to do next.

Perhaps she doesnt want to make it too obvious to others at your work place...Possibly people were talkin or something, and she wants to keep it separate from work.
Id give it a while, as HIT says, and not pester

Yep, this is usually what messes it up when you get involved with someone at work. Everyone's so bored, they just love speculating about other people's private lives and sniggering behind people's backs. I wouldn't worry. Like has been said, just give it a little bit of time and try again...
