It's a sad day for HMFC. Elvis epitomised the word legend. A great player and leader for us and I'm sorry to see him go.

No one player is bigger than the club. I'd pretty much gurantee that if any player at any club came out and openly talked shit about the clubs leader, they'd be treated exactly the same. No matter line of work you're in, you can't publicly speak shit about your employer and not expect to be severly reprimanded.

The way that Hearts and Romanov has handled this though, has been a fucking travesty. They've disrespected Elvis, the reast of the team, and most importantly, the fans. Again though Bri, he's not going anywhere. Why would he be opening a branch of his bank in Edinburgh if he was going to be fucking off in a month?

You can pretty much guarantee that if the survival of the club wasn't dependent on him, then there'd have been far bigger protests. Protests like the time Mercer was thinking about merging with Hibs.

I don't think pissing off thousands of season ticket holders to the point when they won't renew makes much business sense. Neither does undermining pretty much all of your staff (picking the team etc) and having absolutely zero continuity at the club. If Hearts had kept the same squad as last year, couple of new faces and let the boss get on with it, then they'd be far better placed to steadily build on things and challenge for a European spot. Which would have made them more money.

I do genuinely think that Romanov has just fucked up immensely and is just too proud to put his hands and say it. You'll never hear him say "Sorry folks, fucked up with all these magangers, I'm just gonna hire someone decent and fuck off 'till we win the league."

It's not his style, or his background. But now a few of the problems that occured recently have gone, I just hope we can turn it round now. The farcical squad rotation has thankfully fucked off Malofeev, so please Vlad, just stop and let Valdas get on with it!
