RePiercing Belly Button

i had my belly button pierced about a year ago but now even a 6mm bar is too big. I was thinking about taking it out and letting it grow over. Would i be able to have it repierced again when it has healed up? (as it is my fave piercing and would be quite gutted if i cant! lol) any advice will be gratefuly recieved! xx

Hey there, when you say its too big, has it started growing out? Because the chances are if you have problems once with it growing out, it will happen again.

That said, you could get it re-pierced a bit deeper I think, once the original piercing was healed, which would put the new hole behind the scar tissue of the older one and make it less likely to grow out.

Best thing to do is to go and ask a piercer, they would be more than happy to advise you of the best thing to do.
