The issues are as follows :
When it boots up to desktop clicking a desktop shortcut highlight's them all, like the way you would do if you were holding Ctrl + highlighting them all.
Opening firefox and clicking links causes EVERY SINGLE link to open in a new window. I've customized FF to never do this. Every link opens in the same window.
Trying to reboot the pc via Start > Turn Off Computer does NOT work. It simply ignores my request to turn off or reboot. I have to go through Task Manager to manually force this to happen.
Before making this thread, the very reason i am making this thread, is that this happened. It took 2 reboots and 1 switch off before it would work properly !
The old pc did the exact SAME thing and let me just point out that this is an intermittent problem it does not happen ALL the time in fact it doesn't happen all that often but when it does it causes a great hassle.
The only common thing's between this new PC & the old one are the Logitech cordless keyboard i am using, a few bits of software and the webcam. I quite believe it could be the keyboard causing this but then i don't know HOW it could be causing this to happen. Also thought maybe the PC isn't loading all the correct system files or settings it usually does, but again could that be a cause, i don't know ?
It just so happens i did my regular shiteware scans last night and have as usual a completely clean system so it's nothing to do with shiteware of any sort.
So yet again i turn to the internet for help. What could be causing this !?
