Mince dishes such as Bolognese, chilli etc are best cooked the day before eating, to give it chance to marinade and the flavours to really come out.

if you preheat a baking tray before adding food to it (like oven chips for instance) - it sticks even less.

It's a must of your using lard or goose fat (which is the best thing to use for roasties).

to stop your bacon curling up in the frying pan (assuming you use a frying pan) run it under cold water before placing in pan, that way it stays strait.

Or simply make cuts in along the fat.

curling up doesn't bother me as I have it super crispy
