I have no idea, but I know the chain "ask" is good, whether they have a restaurant in London is another question all together :p

I went to a Bella Italia once, i know it's a chain and all samey but was a nicely cooked meal, well prepared/presented and really nice staff. Was me and bf, 2 mains, 2 puds, coffee and a bottle of wine and came to about £30ish not bad really.

I went to an italian in covent garden that wasn't a chain a few weeks ago. It was authentic and the food was lovely, and the portions weren't huge either. I can't remember what it was called though!

Cafe Kick does nice platters of tapasy/mezze type stuff - http://www.cafekick.co.uk/
La Porchetta has always looked really nice to me but i've never been http://www.laporchetta.co.uk/
Strada is a chain but a good one http://www.strada.co.uk/ . Also carluccio's http://www.carluccios.com/CarlucciosSite/pages/home/default.asp.
However for cheap good value food i reccomend turkish medditerranien - Gallipoli on upper street (very close to thesite offices) does a set menu for under a tenner which is really nice.
