Crisp butty recipes

I'm the biggest crisp butty fan ever so here are a few of my favourites

Cheese and onion Walkers with mustard

Roast beef with mustard / horseradish

Ready Salted with original Sandwich spread

Any flavour with grated cheese mustard/mayonaise/salad cream

I've also been known to stick a Kit Kat/ Blue Riband on one too, As mingin' as it sounds, it's addictive

You have to use the ordinary shaped crisps though, or it doesn't have the same effect.

any crisp will do. I wouldnt usually put anything else with it lest it took something away from the crispycrispness.

The best crisps for a butty are the crinkle-cut Seabrooks ones. Blatantly.

I haven't had a crisp buttie since I was a kid. Honestly has to be 15-20 years now! I think I shall have to indulge...

Also - what are people's preferences in bread? I am of the thought that it's the same as a chip buttie... White bread only.

I eat Granary the rest of the time, but white bread it has to be for crisps (I think!) and chips!!
