i usually extract files in .iso to a directory and install from there. i never bother burning the contents of the iso's to cds.

daemon tools is pretty nifty, it negates the need to burn to a CD (and circumvents copy protection too - not that you'd be downloading files with copyright protection - ok now I've said too much!). Anyway, it's freeware, it's goodware (software that is good ;)), uses about 4megs of ram and sits in the systray in the bottom right of the screen.

Recommend you get it, it doubles up as a no-cd crack too as you can often mirror the CD into the emulator and it fools the program.

Just to verify, you don't need CDs for this, just an image file (it supports a wide variety of them) and download the .exe. Some prefer alcohol whatever percent it is now. It was 100%, then 130%, now it's probably 19123123%, so basically just search for alcohol something. That's commercial software though and seems to do the same as daemon except burns CDs as well. Unneccessary in my experience, and also if you have it installed on your computer many programs copy protection will throw a wobbly, even if you're using the official CD.

Daemon tools. You shan't regret it sir :)
