i made this word up when i was a kid and it i'd like you to come up with a meaning for it.

its pronounced bah phen joo loo

other words were

'igg' when someone tickled me under the neck.

It's the name of a tree, found predomiantly in West Africa. It bears a small, brown nut which when eaten imbibes the eater with a feeling of euphoria then sudden death.
