View Full Version : Tea Drinkers
Which Tea do you drink or Recommend?
How do you make yours?
We normally have Tetleys, PG Tips
But today trying ceylon tea which seems a little weaker and got a box of Twinnings to crack open as well.
I'm having ceylon as we speak, tastes a bit weaker in flavour to what I'm used to.
I usually have it with brown sugar and extra milk.

I have PG tips for standard, normal tea. Milk and no sugar, thanks.
I also have green, jasmine green, Earl Grey, chammomile and some fruit teas as well.

Tetley, cheers. Two sugars and a teeny drop of milk. Although my mate brought tea back from Kenya which was pretty fit.

My parents buy me lovely flavors of Rooibos tea. Has more antioxidants than that nasty ass green tea. :p It's the only tea I'll drink. The rest tastes like shit. I add just a dash of honey and thats it.
My favorite flavors being:
Simba (obviously)
Belgian chocolate
Carmel Cream
Georgia Peach
They order it online or if they are in the city (90 miles north of them) they will stop at the store and get it.
Comes from the place called The Tea Table. Awsome flavors.

Ringtons tea is my fave but when I can't get it off the tea man, I use PG Tips. Not too much milk, 2 sugars, stir loads and squezze the bag a good few times. Delish.

We normally just get Tetley's or Fairtrade breakfast tea, and we quite often have Twinings Lady Grey as well. Sometimes we get some chai, but its hard to find a brand that isnt bland.
I'm currently loving the Typhoo fruit infusions, and its beating down my coffee addiction at work.

We get Ringtons from the tea man but we've got none of that I like either PG Tips or Asda own brand. I like Twinnings, Jackson's and Asda own brand green tea too.

If it's kept in the same cupboard as sugar it makes the sugar smell smokey as well. :p
I don't mind the taste of Chai so much ...

I feel the need to defend smoky tea, I quite like a nice lapsang souchong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapsang_souchong).... but I mostly drink green tea of all sorts and rooibos vanilla.

I'm a caffeine queen myself. I like tea, but usually only with food, something like a proper Sunday tea - sarnies, cake, scones. Hungry now :(

I tried some of that today, tasted a bit stronger to me then PG Tips, will try again with a bit more milk but not sure if I liked it or not.

I used to live off TeaDirect but had to give up the vast quantities of tea I was consuming because the milk was upsetting my stomach so now I drink herbal tea by the gallon. Currently favouring pink grapefruit, lime and mandarin :yum:

I really enjoy the ritual of it. I prefer leaves rather than teabags, so it means a nice 5 minutes in the kitchen and gives me a short break from my PC and thinking about work...

twinings jasmine green tea (http://www.twinings.co.uk/GreenTea/Teas/Jasmine.html) is nice if not over brewed, (goes bitter if you over brew it) smells lovely too.
otherwise I drink a nice strong cup of twinings everyday tea with milk and a tiny bit of sugar. that or coffee, depends what I fancy :)
that said, I dont drink enough to compare brands, I've had the same box of everyday tea for ages :p
