To those of you that have changed the address on your driving licence:
how long did it take for them to send it back?

It was pretty quick, about 10 days I vaguely remember.

Also it was free to have it changed which was a pleasant surprise.

It is illegal to drive with the wrong address on your license btw so definately worth getting it done (penalty is £1000 fine I think).

I've sent it off, but I've heard nothing from them yet (and I'm not entirely sure how long ago I sent it).

It took about two weeks for me, when I just sent the license back.

The boss sent the change of name form back too, and got hers in 3 days :yeees:

Ah ha. I won't worry just yet, then :)

They just said "bang it in an envelope and send it to us", so I did!

I did it last month and it only took about 2 weeks, maybe a bit less. Surprisingly, and slightly changing subjects, I sent off for my passport at the same time and that only took a week!
