When I was younger I hated olives and chick peas but now I love them. Does something happen to your taste buds when you get older?
I still hate butter beans :(

I think taste buds mature, or maybe we just mature past "eww ___" and are more open to trying things.
I used to despise spring onions and now I can't get enough of them.

Sparkling water.
Olives.
Water biscuits.
But I've gone off far more things I use to like - pizza, eggs, humous, garlic, onion, most Chinese food, vegetarian "fake meat" products.
I've never liked meat or fish (I turned veggie aged 6 and still am)

I used to have to put sugar in milk if I drank it, now I drink atleast a pint of milk without sugar a day.
Spring onions and onions, used to hate them, now i like them thinly sliced with salads and sandwhiches.
I didn't like asparagus.
There has never been much I don't like thogh, there's about 5 other things i dont like and never will. I love just about all food, if it's cooked right!
As you get older your tastebuds arent as sensitive to taste, smoking hinders i too.

I now eat: curries (mild-ish ones), pizzas, raw tomatoes, other stuff I cant remember.
I still wont eat: Mushrooms, pasta, boiled potatoes. I wont drink milk either, I never have done, my mum gave up making me drink it at about 3 and just made sure I had loads of other dairy produce instead.

Surely sugar would make milk taste worse?
Chocolate... Call me weird but I hated chocolate when I was smaller... But my parents only bought dark chocolate so I expected that all chocolates tasted the same... But then I found out that there's milk chocolate :p
Also, when I was smaller I loved McDonald's and hated burger king... now it's the other way around xP
