Just wondering but say you retire and decide to live abroad, do you still get uk state pensions paid directly into your bank? would you lost this right by living in another country? or would you be paid some other way (maybe by that countries government?)

Yep, if you retire and move abroad you take your entitlement to your UK state pension with you, and any other occupational pensions too. They are still paid by the DWP or your ex employer.
