My monitor is flickering. Lots. And making a fairly medium pitched, reasonably quiet, buzzing sound.
The flickering has horizontal lines, like interferance lines, but they're small, and don't move up/down, and the whole screen is flickering.
I have a feeling it started when we shut the power to the house off last Sunday because of a thunder storm as it was flickering when I turned it on afterwards, and I only got home last night so I hadn't looked at it since then. I shut the computer down before turning everything off at the mains, but if I remember rightly, didn't turn the monitor off.
Have read up on the internet, but couldn't find anything exactly the same, just the impression that monitor is dying. Can it be fixed? It's less than a year old.
