6 months-ish. Bought one dirt cheap that I found by accident after having searched for it for a loooong time. Snatched it and did consider buying all three that were left as well. ;) Before that it must've been another 6 months.

I still buy a lot of CDs, especially of lesser known bands as I feel I owe it to them.
I also like having albums that I love on CD, so they're tangible and I know I won't lose them in some freak computer crash or similar. There's something really nice about owning a piece of music, for me at least.
Last one I bought was Black Gold by King Biscuit Time, I think. Good stuff, was about a fortnight ago I reckon...

Agree with sophia, its nice to look through a CD collection. Actually have a hard copy of what you have bought instead of just a file on a computer

I buy about one album every two weeks, don't believe in buying singles myself, waste of my money, may as well buy the album.
Always use one particular site- free postage, wide selection, pretty cheap. I'm a nice customer to have :) (well I do use them a heck of a lot)

I buy CDs all the time, can't get the hang of downloading and I like to actually have the CD in real life.
The last one I bought was Boy Kill Boy I think, and that was last week or the week before can't remember

Totally. I love having a nice big CD rack full of pretty CDs with their album covers and their artwork and stuff.
My friends don't understand though, cause they've got CD slip folders full of copied CDs with the names scribbled on. Yuck.

I hate that, I really fail to see the joy in it (other than saving your pennies, I suppose). My CD collection is HUGE and will never, ever stop growing.

Snob :p
Though I've been pretty embarassed before after taking unexpected guests back to my uni flat... only for them to start browsing the shelves and coming across some horrors. What's your most cringeworthy CD then hmm?

I got rid of the crap ones when I moved house (ie, Westlife singles, Britney Spears).
But... I think the worst would have to be Son of Dork. But I'm oh so proud of that.
People would consider my Creed album to be cringeworthy though. Meh...

I'd probably be one of those people... ;)
I've kept every CD I've ever bought/given as a gift/gotten free with a newspaper etc. No wonder I'm surrounded by them everywhere I go...
... the CD that always gets picked on by my elitist friends is Elton John. I don't care, I could never get rid of it because then I wouldn't be able to party on down to Crocodile Rock

It wasn't that great, but it was only like $7.00 so I'd say it was worth it.

I haven't for ages. I really can't remember. I love buying them though, copies and mp3s just don't compare. Only thing is ones I want are usually older ones, so I would be buying them all the time.
