Has anybody seen it?
I thought it was great - perfectly crafted storywise even if the lovely Scarlett Johnannsen acted everyone else off the screen.

God I hated it, though the person I saw it with is still crazily in love with it.
What was even worse for me was that I spent the film wanting everyone's clothes, posessions, apartments, electrical gadgets for lack of any real interest in the storyline. Argh. Total lifestyle porn, made me come away from the cinema feeling dirty, ashamed and confused
It also annoyed me that WA kept trying to give the film depth and sophistication by putting operatic music on the soundtrack and name-dropping Dostoevsky, yawn. Maybe he should've concentrated on the dialogue and character development instead.
SJ was gorgeous though, as usual.

Um .. I thought it was okay but nothing THAT special or new about it.
I bought this because of the rave reviews and Scarlett Johansson ;). I was expecting something brilliant but ended up falling asleep halfway through, something that very rarely happens (in fact I can't remember the last time that happened!).
It's slow-paced with a lot of focus being on the chemistry between the characters rather than an exciting story. Some will love it, but I found it tedious. It's a shame because from the off-set it seems like a promising film.

Not one similarity I can think of... oh wait, other than the tennis angle...
Wimbledon is infinitely better because of the gorgeous, highly talented Paul Bettany :yum:
But they're both pretty craptacular...
